As we reported last month, Os Mutantes, Brazil’s principal practicioners of all things Tropicália, have a new album coming out September 8th on Anti- Records. It’s their first new release in over 35 years! Now the seminal São Paulo trio of brothers Arnaldo Baptista and Sérgio Dias, and lead singer Rita Lee have announced a tour of North America. More

Legendary Brazilian psych-rockers Os Mutantes have apparently decided to give it another shot as a trio. Os Mutantes have announced that they’ve signed to Anti- Records, and plan to release their first album in 35 years, Haih, which is due out on September 8th. More
