Yesterday, The Beatles released what’s being described as their last song, “Now and Then.” Now, as promised, they have released a video for the song, directed by Peter Jackson (the Lord of the Rings trilogy, The Beatles: Get Back) in his music video debut. It features footage of the remaining Beatles working on the song in both 1995 (when George Harrison was involved) and 2022, as well cheeky footage of younger versions of the band (including John Lennon) interacting with current versions of Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr. More

Paul McCartney was one of many performers at Glastonbury this past weekend. He performed “I Saw Her Standing There” and “Band on the Run” alongside Dave Grohl of Foo Fighters, and was also joined by Bruce Springsteen for performances of “Glory Days” and “I Wanna Be Your Man.” McCartney also performed The Beatles’ 1970 song “I’ve Got a Feeling” up against archival footage of John Lennon. Beloved Welsh band Super Furry Animals have announced a 20th anniversary reissue of their acclaimed 2001 album Rings Around the World and shared one of its bonus tracks, the raw audio of Paul McCartney chewing celery and carrots. The reissue will be available on vinyl, a single CD, and 3-CD set featuring B-sides, demos, remixes, and unreleased tracks. More
