Michael Cera is back playing the role he knows best, confounded indie heartthrob. This time, there’s a wrench in the familiar set-up: he must battle the love of his life’s seven evil exes. The graphic novel adaptation is directed by Edgar Wright (Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz) and appears to have maintained a good deal of creator Bryan Lee O’Malley’s original quirk.
