Amanda Palmer Splits From Label, Releases New Single
Do You Swear to Tell the Truth the Whole Truth and Nothing But the Truth so Help Your Black Ass?

Amanda Palmer
After an extended battle with her record label Roadrunner, Dresden Doll and solo artist Amanda Palmer has been released from her contract. In an open letter on her blog, Palmer assures that her feelings about the split aren’t all piss and vinegar, assuring, “I will never regret signing with you…and I will never take for granted what you did to help my life.”
In true fashion, Palmer has chosen to celebrate her freedom by getting naked and releasing a single directly to her fans, the long-winded, “Do You Swear to Tell the Truth the Whole Truth and Nothing But the Truth so Help Your Black Ass?” Check out both at Bandcamp.
You can also catch her “protégés” Evelyn and Evelyn on tour now.
