Angel Olsen has announced some September North American tour dates she is dubbing the “Tiny Dreams” tour. It will be her first solo tour since 2014 and a press release promises that she will be “playing sets that will include her early catalog, new unreleased material, and a lot that falls in between.” Olsen has partnered with PLUS1 will be donating $1 from every ticket sold (excluding Vancouver and North Adams) to the charity/aid organization DirectRelief, “and their work to improve the health and lives of people affected by poverty and emergencies.” Tickets go on sale this Friday, May 4. In 2016 Olsen released a fantastic new album, MY WOMAN, via Jagjaguwar. It made it to #3 on Under the Radar’s Top 100 Albums of 2016 list. Last fall she released Phases, a new collection of B-sides, rarities, and demos, including some previously unreleased tracks. It was our Album of the Week.
