Arcade Fire, Bon Iver, Lou Reed, Paul Simon and More Cover Peter Gabriel on New Album
Follow Up to 2010's Scratch My Back

Peter Gabriel
In 2010, Peter Gabriel released a somber and reflective covers album called Scratch My Back. The idea was to cover some of his favorite musicians with the expectation that they would return the favor. Some of them obliged, others showed no interest—Radiohead, for example, were apparently offended by Gabriel’s rendition of “Street Spirit,”—but finally, after three years, the follow up And I’ll Scratch Yours is set to be released September 23rd on Gabriel’s label, Real World Records.
Some of the covers have been available for some time, like David Byrne’s take on “I Don’t Remember,” and Lou Reed’s “Solsbury Hill,” but others will be brand new. Most notably, Arcade Fire’s rendition of “Games Without Frontiers,” and the addition of Feist and Joseph Arthur, who are stepping in for Radiohead and Neil Young, who did not contribute. The album will be available alone as well as a double album with Scratch My Back.
Here’s Bon Iver’s version of “Come Talk To Me,” as well as Gabriel’s cover of Arcade Fire’s “My Body Is A Cage.”
