Ariel Pink recently shared a brand new single, “Another Weekend.” Now he has announced a new album and tour, and also shared a video for “Another Weekend.” The album is entitled Dedicated to Bobby Jameson and is due out September 15 via Mexican Summer. Below are the video, tracklist, tour dates, and album art.

The album’s title is in reference to a real-life Los Angeles musician who was long thought dead, but who resurfaced online in 2007 after a 35-year gap to write his autobiography and “tragic life story in a series of blogs and YouTube tirades,” as a press release puts it. As Pink says in the press release: “His book and life resonated with me to such a degree that I felt a need to dedicate my latest record to him.” Jameson died in 2015.

Grant Singer directed the “Another Weekend” video, which features a cowboy-hatted Pink performing the song with a Mexican mariachi band, until things take a violent turn.

Ariel Pink’s last few full-length albums came out on 4AD, including his most recent one, 2014’s pom pom, although his last release was the Myths 002 EP back in January, a collaboration with Weyes Blood that was also released by Mexican Summer.
