Atoms For Peace to Offer High Quality Audio Of Shows at London’s Roundhouse
Via New Program Soundhalo
Jul 18, 2013 Atoms For Peace
Thanks to Soundhalo, a program that offers high quality audio to fans right as a show happens, you’ll be able to hear Atoms For Peace’s London Roundhouse shows as they happen. Beats crappy fan footage, right? That’s what bandmember Nigel Godrich thought.
“Part of the reason Soundhalo was interesting to me was that I found myself wondering why, whenever you go to a gig, the next day there are a million shaky, horrible sounding YouTube videos already online,” he said via press release. “But you go and look because you want to see something of your experience. Soundhalo provides something really functional—an experience that you want to remember in front of you as soon as the concert has happened. To be able to relive that is a really great thing.”
Check out a video promo for the event below. It all happens July 25 and 26.

All too often inexperienced engineers reach for an equalizer and twist knobs to try and make things “sound better”. This is completely the wrong way to use an EQ. You can go to study more about audio engineering nashville before starting to invest in new equipment. In the recording studio, it comes down to developing your musical ear, learning in detail how each piece of gear functions, and then learning how to use the gear in a way that is informed by your musical ear.
