
Avey Tare Forms New Band, Slasher Flicks, Announces Debut Album, “Enter the Slasher House”

Taking some time from his duties with Animal Collective, Avey Tare has announced the formation of a new side-band called Slasher Flicks. Rounded out by keybarod player and singer Angel Deradoorian (Dirty Projectors) and drummer Jeremy Hyman (Ponytail), the trio have revealed that they will release their debut album Enter the Slasher House on April 8 in the U.S. and April 7 everywhere else via Domino.
