Baroness Announce North American Tour Dates
Purple Out Now via Abraxan Hymns
Mar 07, 2016
Baroness
Baroness released their new album, Purple, back in December via the metal band’s own Abraxan Hymns label. Now the band has announced some North American tour dates, which pick up soon after their current European ones. Check them out below, followed by the video for “Chlorine & Wine” and the audio for “Try to Disappear.”
Purple is the first album since the terrible tour bus crash in England in 2012 that left nine people injured and happened only a month after the band’s last album, Yellow & Green was released. After the accident drummer Allen Blickle and bassist Matt Maggioni left the band and the current lineup features existing members, guitarists/vocalists John Baizley and Pete Adams, being joined by bassist/keyboardist Nick Jost and drummer Sebastian Thomson. Dave Fridmann (The Flaming Lips, Mercury Rev) produced the album.
