Rilo Kiley, one of the leading lights of the Los Angeles indie rock scene in the 2000s, have reunited and are playing new shows this year. We were one of the first nationally distributed magazines to do an interview and photo shoot with them, way back in 2002. We were one of the first print mags to have them on the cover, in 2004. And then the band’s Jenny Lewis has been on our cover two other times.
All photos are by our co-publisher Wendy Lynch Redfern, who was an early fan of Rilo Kiley before co-founding Under the Radar in 2001.
