Beck released a new album, Colors, last October via Capitol. Now he has shared a video for “Colors” directed by acclaimed British director Edgar Wright (Baby Driver, Shaun of the Dead, Scott Pilgrim vs. the World). It features a black & white Beck in a white suit against bright yellow and blue backgrounds and features a bunch of guys in yellow and blue bodysuits. Actress Alison Brie (Community, GLOW) costars, clad in a white dress that you could imagine Marilyn Monroe wearing. Right now it’s an Apple Music exclusive, so you have to head over there to watch the full video, but you can watch a 30-second preview of it below.

In June 2016 Beck released a brand new song, “Wow,” and announced plans to release an as yet to be titled new album sometime via Capitol (it was originally due out October 2016, but was pushed back to a TBA date). “Wow” followed “Dreams,” a standalone single that was released in 2015, and “Wow” matches that track’s poppy vibe, sounding more like something from his great 1999 album Midnight Vultures rather than his last album, 2014’s more subdued Morning Phase, which won the Grammy for Album of the Year. “Dreams” is featured on Colors but in a new mix. Beck later shared a lyric video for “Dear Life” and a full on video for “Up All Night,” as well as a video for “Fix Me.” Then there was a remix of “Up All Night” by Los Angeles electronic duo Oliver.
