Beck Shares “Up All Night” Remix by Oliver and Announces New Tour Dates
Colors Out Now via Capitol, Dates Include Madison Square Garden Show
Mar 15, 2018 Beck
Beck released a new album, Colors, last October via Capitol. Now he has shared a remix of one of its singles, “Up All Night,” by Los Angeles electronic duo Oliver. A press release says the song has now been “infused with an epic coat of twisted yacht rock smoothness, sure to keep the good vibes rolling.” Beck has also announced some more tour dates, including his first ever headlining show at Madison Square Garden in July (with support from Glass Animals). Check out the remix below, followed by all his upcoming tour dates.
In June 2016 Beck released a brand new song, “Wow,” and announced plans to release an as yet to be titled new album sometime via Capitol (it was originally due out October 2016, but was pushed back to a TBA date). “Wow” followed “Dreams,” a standalone single that was released in 2015, and “Wow” matches that track’s poppy vibe, sounding more like something from his great 1999 album Midnight Vultures rather than his last album, 2014’s more subdued Morning Phase, which won the Grammy for Album of the Year. “Dreams” is featured on Colors but in a new mix. Beck later shared a lyric video for “Dear Life” and a full on video for “Up All Night,” as well as a video for “Fix Me.”
