Death Cab for Cutie‘s Ben Gibbard has shared a cover of Minor Threat‘s “Filler.” The original was the first track on Minor Threat’s self-titled debut EP from 1981. Gibbard simply had this to say in the Soundcloud post for the song: “I covered this only once at a solo show in D.C. in 2012. I felt like recording and sharing it today. Enjoy.” Listen to the cover below, followed by the original version.
Death Cab for Cutie released a new album, Thank You For Today, last year via Atlantic.
