Ribbons Due Out April 12 via Warp
Feb 27, 2019 Bibio
Bibio (aka British electronic music producer Stephen Wilkinson) has announced a new album, Ribbons, and shared a trailer for the album. Ribbons is due out April 12 via Warp. It includes “Curls,” a single he shared earlier this month. Check out the album trailer and Curls below, followed by the album’s tracklist and cover art.
A press release describes the album as such: “Following his ambient atmospheric project, Phantom Brickworks, Stephen Wilkinson returns to the path of structured songwriting last explored on 2016’s A Mineral Love. Ribbons yields folkloric charm with an organic palette, incorporating a mostly acoustic-led approach exploring ‘60s and ‘70s psychedelia, soul, ambient, electronic, and field recordings.
