The remaining members of Big Star (Andy Hummel and Alex Chilton passed away earlier this year) are joining together December 9th and 10th to perform classic 1978 album, Third. The performance will take place at Cat’s Cradle in North Carolina as part of the Stoke It, Noel series.
Originally conceived as a studio project, this marks the first time material will be presented live with full orchestral accompaniment. Joining the legendary band are members of R.E.M., The Love Language, and Lost In the Trees.
