As Bill Murray mentioned on his final ever interview on The Late Show with David Letterman on Tuesday, the comedian legend has a Christmas special coming on Netflix this December. The project reteams him with his Lost in Translation director Sofia Coppola, who directs the special and co-wrote it with Murray and Mitch Glazer. Entitled A Very Murray Christmas, the special features a star-studded cast, including Under the Radar favorites Jenny Lewis and Phoenix (whose Thomas Mars Coppola is married to). A very brief teaser has been released that features only Murray, wearing antlers.
The cast also includes George Clooney, Paul Shaffer, Amy Poehler, Julie White, Michael Cera, Chris Rock, David Johansen, Maya Rudolph, Jason Schwartzman, Frederic Moulin, Rashida Jones, and Miley Cyrus. A Very Murray Christmas is as an homage to classic variety shows. Murray plays himself as he hosts a TV show, but is worried no one will show up due to a big snow storm. Check out the teaser below.
