Bloc Party’s frontman Kele Okereke will embark on his first U.S. tour in support of his solo debut, The Boxer. The album, produced by XXXchange (Spank Rock, The Kills) with additional mixing by Philippe Zdar (Phoenix’s Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix) is set to released on June 22. Okereke originally wanted to take a break from music for a year when Bloc Party decided to take a hiatus after touring for five straight years, but he ended up recording in the studio on a whim, with The Boxer being the outcome. The tour will start on July 23 at The Metro in Chicago and conclude in Washington in August. Check out the tour dates below.
