Just when you thought summer would never end, Bob Dylan is out to remind you that your shopping days ‘til Christmas are quickly dwindling. On October 13th, the legendary troubadour is releasing his first holiday album, Christmas in the Heart. Classic Christmas songs such as “Here Comes Santa Claus,” “Winter Wonderland,” “Little Drummer Boy” and “Must Be Santa” will be included in the yet-to-be-released track list.
Proving he’s no Scrooge, 100% of Dylan’s royalties from the project will go to Feeding America—a non-profit organization that is set to feed 1.4 million people during the holiday season. Says Dylan via a press release, “It’s a tragedy that more than 35 million people in this country alone—12 million of those children—often go to bed hungry and wake up each morning unsure of where their next meal is coming from. I join the good people of Feeding America in the hope that our efforts can bring some food security to people in need during this holiday season.”
