Bombay Bicycle Club have announced a new album, Everything Else Has Gone Wrong, and released a video for its previously shared first single, “Eat, Sleep, Wake (Nothing But You).” Everything Else Has Gone Wrong is due out January 17 via Caroline International/Island. It’s the band’s first album in five years, since 2014’s So Long, See You Tomorrow. Check out the “Eat, Sleep, Wake (Nothing But You)” video below, followed by the band’s upcoming tour dates.
The band had this to say about the album in a press release: “This is an album for anyone who’s ever turned to music in a time of crisis, whether personal or political. It’s about the solace one can get from listening to music or playing music when everything else has gone wrong. It’s about finding kernels of hope and renewal in dire situations.”
Louis Bhose, the band’s old touring keyboardist, directed the “Eat, Sleep, Wake (Nothing But You)” video, which was shot in the Ukraine. Everything Else Has Gone Wrong was recorded mainly in America with producer John Congleton (St. Vincent, Sharon Van Etten). The band’s tour dates include some shows in honor of the 10th anniversary of their 2009-released debut album, I Had The Blues But I Shook Them Loose.
