Last night the 54th Annual Grammy Awards presented its year’s list of contenders, with Bon Iver coming away big and scoring some of the evening’s higher profile nominations, including Record and Song of the Year (“Holocene”), Best New Artist, and Best Alternative Album. Other indie friendly artists making the cut included Mumford & Sons (with “The Cave” also up for Record of the Year), Fleet Foxes (Best Folk Album), Foster the People, Radiohead, Death Cab for Cutie, and My Morning Jacket (all also up Best Alternative Album). Album of the Year nominations wound up going to Adele, Foo Fighters, Lady Gaga, Rihanna, and Bruno Mars. You can start making your bets by checking out the full list of categories and nominees here.
