
Bon Iver’s Justin Vernon Announces New Project, Volcano Choir
Debut Album Unmap out September 22nd

A collaboration between Bon Iver’s Justin Vernon and members of Collections of Colonies of Bees, Volcano Choir announced today via a press release that their debut album Unmap, is to be released September 22th on Jagjaguwar.
Conceived in a single weekend at Vernon and brother Nate’s Wisconsin recording studio, Unmap draws influences from David Sylvian, Steve Reich, Mahalia Jackson, Tom Waits, and—one assumes—a good dose of the musicians’ respective main gigs.

Justin Vernon is so amazing. I met him in Knoxville, TN. Wish he would come back to the area. Such a great soul.
I’m loving the title of song 9, Youlogy. That’s clever.
Does anyone know where one could listen to the material, or is it too early in the process?
