Bradford Cox to Make Feature Film Debut

Deerhunter/Atlas Sound frontman Bradford Cox has revealed that he will be making his feature film debut in the upcoming drama The Dallas Buyers Club.
The new flick, directed by Jean-Mar Valleé tells the true story of Ron Woodroof, a Texas electrician diagnosed in 1986 with AIDS and given six months to live. Frustrated with his lack of treatment options Woodroof begins using and smuggling experimental alternative drugs for himself and other patients in need. With Matthew McConaughey taking the lead role, Cox will star as the lover of actor Jared Leto’s character, a cross-dresser dying of AIDS. (via Hollywood Reporter)
