Jun 13, 2011
Braid
Braid is coming out of hibernation. The Illinois-based band is set to release their first new material since 1998’s Fame and Canvas. The EP—titled Closer to Closed—is set to be released August 16 via Polyvinyl. While the band is launching a (very brief ) tour around the material (see dates below) this might be it for awhile. Then again, while Braid has no immediate plans for a full-length, they haven’t ruled out the idea. Who knows? Stranger things have happened. Check out the tracklist below.
Tracklist:
1. The Right Time
2. Do Over
3. You Are the Reason
4. Universe or Worse
Tour Dates:
8/27 - Chicago, IL @ The Metro
9/24 - Champaign, IL @ Polyvinyl’s 15-Year Anniversary Show - Pygmalion Music Festival
