
Broken Bells Announce First Batch of Live Shows, Including One in LA Tonight
James Mercer of The Shins and Danger Mouse Take to the Stage

Broken Bells, the formidable duo that is Danger Mouse and The Shins’ James Mercer, have announced a small batch of shows scheduled both before and after the release of their debut self-titled album on March 9th according to this Pitchfork news item. These shows will mark the duo’s live debut with Los Angeles’ Bootleg Theater getting the first date (tonight!), which is (well) one of two U.S dates. The other is in March at NPR’s SXSW showcase alongside the likes of Spoon, Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings, The Walkmen and Visqueen.
