
Bruce Hornsby Announces New Album, Shares “Over the Rise” (feat. Bon Iver’s Justin Vernon)

Singer/songwriter Bruce Hornsby recently collaborated with Bon Iver‘s Justin Vernon’s band DeYarmond Edison for a cover of the Grateful Dead’s “Black Muddy River,” which will appear on the National’s Grateful Dead tribute album. Now, Bruce Hornsby and his band the Noisemakers have announced a new album Rehab Reunion, which is out out June 17, that features another collaboration with Vernon. Hornsby has shared a new song called “Over the Rise,” which Pitchfork points out features Vernon providing backup vocals. Hornsby will perform a couple months after the release at Vernon’s Eaux Claires festival. You can listen to “On the Rise” and find the tracklist below:
