Canadian pop singer Carly Rae Jepsen has announced a new album, Dedicated, and some summer tour dates. Dedicated is due out May 17 via School Boy/Interscope. Below is the album’s cover art and the tour dates.
In February Jepsen shared two songs from Dedicated: “Now That I Found You” and “No Drug Like Me.” Then she shared a video for “Now That I Found You,” in which she really, really loved her cat (or cats). Watch the video below again.
The two songs followed “Party For One,” a new song she shared a video for back in November (it was one of our Songs of the Week), although there is no word if “Party For One” is on Dedicated, as the tracklist has yet to be shared. Dedicated is the follow-up to 2015’s E•MO•TION.
For the tour Jepsen has partnered with PLUS1 so that $1 from every ticket sold will go to support Crisis Text Line. A press release says they provide “free, confidential and 24/7 support for those in crisis.” The only outlier is her San Francisco concert, where $1 from every ticket sold will go to support The Trevor Project, “and their work providing crisis intervention and suicide prevention services for LGBTQ youth.” Fans who pre-order the album can buy tickets starting April 2, whereas general sale tickets go on sale April 5.
