Carly Rae Jepsen Really, Really Loves Her Cat in the “Now That I Found You” Video
From Her Forthcoming New Album on School Boy/Interscope

Last month Canadian pop singer Carly Rae Jepsen shared two new songs: “Now That I Found You” and “No Drug Like Me.” Now she has shared a video for “Now That I Found You,” in which she really, really loves her cat (or cats). The video also references Breakfast at Tiffany’s (but thankfully without that film’s outdated Asian stereotypes). Carlos Lopez Estrada and Nelson de Castro directed the video from a concept by Jepsen. Watch it below.
The two songs followed “Party For One,” a new song she shared a video for back in November (it was one of our Songs of the Week). The new songs are another taste of her new album, the follow-up to 2015’s E•MO•TION, which a press release says will be out sometime this spring via School Boy/Interscope.
Jepsen had this to say about the songs in a previous press release: “‘Now That I Found You’ is about the high you get when a new love starts to change your life. It’s like the rush, rush, rush is better than any drug. Which leads me to ‘No Drug Like Me’ which is a promise I made to love in general. That when the good stuff lands my way I’ll always try to be vulnerable and brave and show all of myself - - ‘If you make me feel in love then I’ll blossom for you.’”
