Carly Rae Jepsen Shares New Song “Too Much”
Dedicated Due Out May 17 via School Boy/Interscope
May 09, 2019 Carly Rae Jepsen
Canadian pop singer Carly Rae Jepsen is releasing a new album, Dedicated, on May 17 via School Boy/Interscope. Now she has shared another song from it, “Too Much.” She worked on the song with John Hill, Jordan Palmer, and Noonie Bao. Listen to it below, followed by her upcoming tour dates.
In February Jepsen shared two songs from Dedicated: “Now That I Found You” and “No Drug Like Me.” Then she shared a video for “Now That I Found You,” in which she really, really loved her cat (or cats). Then she shared album opener “Julien.”
The songs followed “Party For One,” a new song she shared a video for back in November (it was one of our Songs of the Week), which is the closing track on Dedicated. Dedicated is the follow-up to 2015’s E•MO•TION.
For the tour Jepsen has partnered with PLUS1 so that $1 from every ticket sold will go to support Crisis Text Line. A press release says they provide “free, confidential and 24/7 support for those in crisis.” The only outlier is her San Francisco concert, where $1 from every ticket sold will go to support The Trevor Project, “and their work providing crisis intervention and suicide prevention services for LGBTQ youth.”
