Scottish electro-pop trio CHVRCHES have put together a “Bedtime Mix” for Phil Taggart’s show on BBC Radio 1. It’s a regular feature on the Sunday night show and last night CHVRCHES’ Ian Cook put together the mix and was interviewed by Taggart. It features Mogwai, Tangerine Dream, Aphex Twin, Brian Eno, My Bloody Valentine, and more. Check out the mix and interview below.
Back in September Tame Impala’s Kevin Parker also made a “Bedtime Mix” for Taggart. CHVRCHES’ well-received second album, Every Open Eye, is out now via Glassnote. CHVRCHES were on the cover of our last print issue and recent we posted the in-depth 8-page 5,600-word cover story feature on the band to our website and you can read that here. You can also read our recent bonus digital magazine Q&A with them here.
