Clap Your Hands Say Yeah have the unfortunate luck of being one of the first bands to endure the internet-age’s cycle of buzz and backlash. Releasing a debut that was self-titled, self-produced, self-released, self-promoted, and self-distributed back in 2005, the group had become overnight DIY champions in the truest sense. With response to the group’s follow-up Some Lound Thunder proving to be mixed at best, members of CYHSY had appeared to opt for their own solo and side-projects. It seems however, that band is doing just fine, announcing that they will be releasing their third album, Hysterical on Sept. 20. Reissuing their self-titled debut on vinyl on June 14, the band has provided a video teaser trailer of the new work which you can check out below.
