God Help the Girl
Our God Help the Girl competition ends tomorrow at 12 p.m. EST. This is your last chance to enter.
Last Friday the Glasgow-set musical film God Help the Girl opened in Los Angeles and New York and became available to download or rent via Vimeo and iTunes. Then this Friday it gets a wider theatrical release. God Help the Girl is the feature film writing and directing debut of Belle and Sebastian frontman Stuart Murdoch.
Partly in honor of its release we did Scotland Week on our website all last week, posting interviews with the cast of God Help the Girl and various other Scottish bands. And now we’re giving you a chance to win a vinyl copy of the God Help the Girl soundtrack, a Vimeo download of the film, and a tote bag. Visit Under the Radar’s Facebook page, Like us, and then send us a message telling us the name of your favorite Belle and Sebastian song (also use the hashtag #GodHelptheGirl). Two winners will be randomly chosen to win the prize packs. You have until tomorrow (Thursday, September 11), at 12 p.m. EST to enter. We will contact the winners directly.
Watch the trailer for God Help the Girl below and visit the film’s website for more info on where to see the film and how to rent and buy it.
Read our interviews with God Help the Girl stars Olly Alexander, Hannah Murray, and Emily Browning. And then read our interview with Stuart Murdoch about directing the film.
