Crows have shared their final single, “Is It Better?”, ahead of their new album, Reason Enough, set to be released at the end of this month via Bad Vibrations Records.

The single reflects the challenging year experienced by lead singer James Cox during the album’s creation. Cox explains, “‘Is It Better?’ is a tribute to the friends and family who helped me navigate through a tough time. It’s also about acknowledging the scars left behind and accepting the new reality after enduring hardships.”

The track is accompanied by a video directed by Manoela Chiabai, known for her work with artists like Tove Lo, SG Lewis, and Depeche Mode. Chiabai describes the concept, saying, “The lyrics and title pose an absurd, impossible question, leading me to explore the idea of a man trapped in a loop, unable to find peace even at his own funeral. The blend of catchy music with absurd humor and playfulness made for a fun and unique experience on set.”

Crows have toured with Wolf Alice in the US, while James Cox has also fronted the band Humanist, supporting Depeche Mode and Jane’s Addiction while co-owning a tattoo studio in Hackney Wick.

Reason Enough promises to be a profound exploration of existentialism and personal growth, against a backdrop of the UK’s current social and political climate.
