Cullen Omori Shares Lyric Video for New Song “Four Years”
New Tour Dates Next Month
Apr 26, 2018
Cullen Omori
Former Smith Westerns frontman and singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist Cullen Omori released his debut solo album, New Misery, back in 2016 via Sub Pop. Now he was returned with a brand new single, “Four Years,” also on Sub Pop and shared via a lyric video for the song. He also has some tour dates next month. Check out the song and dates below.
Omori had this to say about “Four Years” in a press release: “The song is meant to be an exchange of perceptions: a duet except sung by one person. The first verse deals with the conviction and singular determination needed to end the relationship. The second verse is the reactionary response to what is usually an unexpected upset to a familiar and welcomed status quo.”
There’s no word yet on if or when a new album might be due, but this is a promising sign that one could be on the way.
