“Pleased to Meet You” artist (see our Fall issue for the interview) Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr. is hitting the ground with the speed of…err…a race car driver. The kitch-loving, breezy power pop group recently announced a My Love Is Easy Remix-EP (due out November 2nd) featuring retoolings from Deastro, Kasper Bjørke, Diego and the Dissidents, and Prussia.
For those of you heading eastward for CMJ, the band is hitting the festival with a vengeance. Check out the dates of their showcases below.

Racing began soon after the construction of the first successful gasoline-fueled automobiles. The first race ever organized was on April 28, 1887 by the chief editor of Paris publication Le Vélocipède, Monsieur Fossier.[citation needed] It ran 2 kilometers from Neuilly Bridge to the Bois de Boulogne. It was won by Georges Bouton of the De Dion-Bouton company, in a car he had constructed with Albert, the Comte de Dion, but as he was the only competitor to show up it is rather difficult to call it a race.
