Dan Deacon Announces New LP
America Out This August
May 31, 2012 Dan Deacon
Baltimore-based electronic-pop artist Dan Deacon has announced the forthcoming release of his new album America. Influenced by his recent forays into the classical world and film scoring (for Francis Ford Coppola of all people), the nine-track effort will be available on Aug. 28 in North America and Aug. 27 everywhere else via Domino. Sampling a bit of his new work, Deacon has offered fans a free download of the raw, celebratory track “Lots,” which can be accessed below. The record’s full tracklisting, as well as Deacon’s upcoming tour schedule are also avaiable to check out.
