Doctor Who Star to do NBC Pilot Rex is Not Your Lawyer

Bummed Doctor Who’s David Tennant is about to take his final curtain call as The Doctor? Well, there might a silver lining for American fans, he might soon be The Lawyer. As reported by The Hollywood Reporter, Tennant is slated to come state side; staring in NBC pilot Rex is Not Your Lawyer. Tennant will play the titular character Rex, who takes to coaching his clients to represent themselves in court after a series of panic attacks.
While a noted actor in Britain, if picked up this will be Tennant’s first American network TV role, following in the footsteps of House’s Hugh Laurie. Check out our recent interview with David Tennant.
