
Dead Can Dance Announce New Album

Acclaimed world music duo Dead Can Dance have announced that they will release their first album in 16 years on Aug. 9. Work on the new record, entitled Anastasis, had begun in the fall of 2011 and was recorded in Ireland’s Quivy Studios. With the full-length to be made available in a multitude of formats (phsyical releases available Aug. 14), bandmembers Lisa Gerrard and Brndan Perry have not only announced a series of U.S. tour dates, but have already posted the entire album online to stream in full on the band’s website.
