The Dead Weather
The Dead Weather, Jack White’s newest musical incarnation, will be invading venues across the United States and Canada starting June 11 in Louisville, Kentucky. Soon after— July 14 in the U.S. and July 13 in the U.K.—the band’s debut album Horehound will be available on White’s own label Third Man.
The band, which features Alison Mosshart of the Kills, Dean Fertitia of Queens of the Stone Age and “Little” Jack Lawrence of The Raconteurs, has released two tracks to date via iTunes and on limited edition 7” vinyl: “Hang You From The Heavens” and Gary Numan cover “Are Friends Electric?”
And check this: limited pre-sale tickets will be available on the band’s website starting Wednesday, May 13 at noon, EST. For an added bonus, fans that snatch up pre-sale tickets will also get a chance to pre-order Horehound at a discounted price.
