Deerhunter Reveal Fall Tour Dates
Band Bringing Along Some Old Favorites as Openers
Aug 05, 2010 Deerhunter
Bradford Cox once rather jadedly said he could make an album a day if he didn’t have to tour so frequently to support himself financially. He’s still damn prolific by modern standards, releasing at least an LP a year with either Atlas Sound or Deerhunter, with sundry EPs and 7"s thrown in for good measure, and despite his aversion to the road, both are terrific live acts. So Cox will tour again this fall in support of Deehunter’s newest album Halcyon Digest, released September 28 on 4AD. Cox and co. have hand picked some fine bands to open, including an act long championed by Cox, Casino Versus Japan. Animal Collective’s Deakin, Best Coast, and New Jersey indie popsters Real Estate will also tag along at various junctures. Full dates are below.
