Delorean Sign to True Panther, Release “Stay Close”
On North American Tour with Miike Snow, Subiza Out June 8th
Mar 24, 2010 Delorean
The Barcelona synthpop quartet Delorean turned plenty of heads in 2009 with their lush, sun-kissed Ayrton Senna EP. Soon they will follow that slice of summer with an LP entitled Subiza. Matador sub-imprint True Panther will issue it on June 8th. Pre-order it from the Matastore to get an instant download of the entire album.
The full-length’s title comes from the Basque town of Subiza where they recorded the dance music tracks. Barcelona music vet John Talabot aided the recording, and Yeah Yeah Yeahs/TV on the Radio engineer Chris Coady mixed the release. Listen to album opener “Stay Close” here, or watch the faded-out clip for the single below. The album’s tracklist is down there too.
The band can be seen on tour in North America, supporting Miike Snow. Check out the dates at the end.
