Angel Deradoorian, perhaps best known as the former bassist/vocalist in Dirty Projectors, last month announced the release of her debut solo album, The Expanding Flower Planet, due out August 21 via Anitcon and to be released simply under her last name. Now she has shared a new live video for the album’s opening track, “A Beautiful Woman.” It was shot and edited by Lonnie Francisco and features Deradoorian and her bandmate/sister Arlene Deradoorian performing the song in a studio space.
Deradoorian has also announced some U.S. tour dates with former Stereolab vocalist Laetitia Sadier. We announced Sadier’s tour dates yesterday, butout the live video below, followed by the tour dates.
