Desaparecidos
After releasing a few stand-alone singles in 2013, Conor Oberst’s reunited punk outfit Desaparecidos have revealed their intentions to release a brand new album. The new LP will be the band’s first since delivering their only record Read Music/Speak Spanish back in 2002, and is set to be released sometime later this year on their new label home Epitaph. In a post on Instagram the band wrote, “We are honored to officially be on @epitaphrecords. So many great things to come in 2015.” According to a press release, the new album will feature original Desaparecidos members Oberst (vocals, guitar), Landon Hedges (bass, guitar), Matt Baum (drums), Denver Dalley (guitar) and Ian McElroy (keyboard).
In addition to the upcoming album, Desaparecidos have announced plans for a number of shows this year, which will include stops Coachella and Forecastle. Scroll down to view the upcoming schedule of performances.
