Aug 28, 2018 Desert Daze By Christopher Roberts

California’s Desert Daze festival has been announcing its lineup in stages. Now they have announced the fourth round of artists, including Slowdive (who join previously announced fellow shoegazing legends My Bloody Valentine), Wooden Shjips, Idles, Cosmonauts, L.A. Witch, Death Valley Girls, Vinyl Williams, Goon, Stonefield, Sugar Candy Mountain, and The Mad Walls. Then they have also announced some late night sets, including a collaborative set by Kikagaku Moyo with Boogarins and JJUUJJUU (and more to be revealed), plus regular late night sets from Deap Vally, Lumerians, and Prettiest Eyes.

Previously announced performers for the festival include Tame Impala, GUM, POND, Mercury Rev performing Deserter’s Songs, Jarvis Cocker introducing JARV IS…, King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, Death Grips, Warpaint, Ty Segall & White Fence, Chelsea Wolfe, Julia Holter, Shellac, and more. The full lineup is below. The festival is at Moreno Beach in Lake Perris, California, and goes down October 12-14.
