Destroyer (the project of Dan Bejar) has announced a new album, Dan’s Boogie, and shared a new song from it, “Bologna,” via a music video. The song features Fiver’s Simone Schmidt, who also appears in the video with Bejar. Dan’s Boogie is due out March 28 via Merge. Check out the “Bologna” video below, followed by the album’s tracklist and cover artwork.

“I haven’t written many songs like ‘Bologna,’” says Bejar in a press release. “I struggled singing the first and third verses, the most important parts of the song. They needed gravity and grit. The threat of disappearing needed to be real. So I called Simone.”

Destroyer’s last album, LABYRINTHITIS, came out in March 2022 via Merge. It was one of our Top 100 Albums of 2022. Read our interview with Destroyer on the album here.
