Devendra Banhart and his backing band The Grogs have announced some fall tour dates celebrating the release of What Will We Be, Banhart’s sixth full-length release (which came out last year). Banhart will also open for Arcade Fire in Europe.

On What Will We Be, Banhart blended ballads, R&B, and Latin fusion among other surprises. The touring line-up will be the same people who recorded What Will We Be: Banhart on vocals and guitar; Noah Georgeson (producer of Banhart’s last two albums, Little Joy, Bert Jansch and Joanna Newsome) on guitar and backing vocals, Greg Rogove (Priestbird) on drums and backing vocals; Luckey Remington (The Pleased) on bass and vocals, and Rodrigo Amarante (Los Hermanos, Little Joy) on guitar and backing vocals.
