Dhani Harrison Plays Tribute To His Father On Conan

Featuring Big Black Delta

Sep 25, 2014 Big Black Delta

Conan has been honoring the late George Harrison all week, and last night the Beatle’s son Dhani stopped by to play a couple of his father’s songs from his 1970 album All Things Must Pass. Big Black Delta joined Harrison for the second song, “Ballad Of Sir Frankie Crisp (Let It Roll).” Conan’s weeklong tribute wraps up tomorrow night, and on September 28 an all-star tribute concert will take place at L.A.‘s El Rey Theatre. Performers include The Flaming Lips, “Weird” Al Yankovic, Spoon’s Brit Daniel, Brian Wilson and more. All of this is to mark the release of George Harrison: The Apple Years 1968-1975, a new box set available via Capitol Records.
