Django Django Announce More U.S. Tour Dates, Share Leith Waterworld Remix of “Reflections”
Reflections Remix 12-Inch Due Out Friday
Jul 21, 2015 Django Django
Django Django’s first North American tour dates in honor of their impressive, and perhaps a little underrated, sophomore album, Born Under Saturn, kick off this week. But the London-based four-piece has just announced a new round of U.S. tour dates to go down in October and November.
The band is also releasing a new 12-inch for Born Under Saturn single “Reflections” this Friday. It includes remixes of the song by Happa, Jellybean (aka Django Django’s Dave MacLean), and Leith Waterworld. The band has shared “Reflections (Leith Waterworld Instrumental Remix)” via Soundcloud and you can stream it below. It really sounds nothing like the original version of the song (the video for which you can also watch below) stripping it of any vocals or chorus melodies. Also below is the previously shared Happa remix of the song.
You can pre-order the Reflections 12-inch here. Born Under Saturn is out now via Ribbon Music. Also be sure to pick Under the Radar‘s current print issue (the one with Tame Impala on the cover) to read an interview with Django Django about the creation of Born Under Saturn and how the studio they recorded it in may have been haunted.
Reflections 12-Inch Tracklist:
A1. Reflections
A2. Reflections (Happa Remix)
B1. Reflections (Jellyman’s Midnight Jelly Jam)
B2. Reflections (Leith Waterworld Remix)
