Doctor Who
Is there a doctor in the house? Well, if it’s a movie house, chances are good. After much speculation, news has finally broke that Doctor Who—the longest running sci-fi show of all times—is headed to the big screen.
David Yeats, who most recently directed the final installment of Harry Potter is set to helm the film. As of right now there are no plans to cast current Doctor, Matt Smith or his assistant Amy Pond (played by Karen Gillan). (May we suggest David Tennant?) Currently the search is underway to find a writer that captures what Yates terms a “British sensibility.”
The yet-untitled film is set to hit theaters in three years.
