Looking to lessen the blow caused by an online leak of their upcoming album, Time to Die, The Dodos have naturally launched their own strike on the interweb, allowing fans to listen record in its entirety (and in higher quality) via dietodie.net.
While the leak hasn’t affected the LP’s inevitable physical release dates, which remain the same on Sept. 15 (U.S.) and Aug. 31 (U.K), the digital release of Time to Die has been moved up significantly, to July 28 (U.S.) and July 27 (U.K.).
“It’s a little earlier than expected,” says Meric Long in an introductory video on the streaming site, “but we want you to hear it, and we want you to feel it.”
